I think the title of this post may be accidentally wrong?
Seems the woman in question was rightly exonerated by the Californian Supreme Court.
Just also want to point out that just because her judgement was overturned, doesn't mean she was innocent of murdering her boyfriend. Just that she didn't get a fair trial due to the incompetence of her public defender.
Also want to point out that public defenders are overworked, underpayed and sometimes underqualified for high profile murder cases. So their incompetence isn't necessarily an indictment of them, more so an indictment if the legal system.
